Justin Boer, of Aegis Studios, is an award winning prop and costume maker. Specializing in foam armor and weapon fabrication. His journey began in late 2018 after meeting a now great friend, HDC Fabrication, at his first Con, a small home town convention in Davenport, IA. This meeting reignited a passion for pop-culture and video games. Justin wanted to delve deeper into the convention scene and fabricated his first cosplay, the Elder Scrolls Nord, for Wizard World Madison. After cosplaying and competing for the very first time, he knew it was a journey he needed to continue pursuing. A few short months later, in February 2019, he entered and competed in the C2E2 Crown Championship of Cosplay. Although he didn't place in this competition, the experience of meeting and competing with so many incredible makers secured his love for the community.

Aegis Studios was founded by Justin Boer in late 2018, with hopes of expanding their convention presence in the coming years guesting and hosting panels.
